• THE ROLE

  I am seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably MRICS qualified for a firm of consultants who do claims, contracts management and quantity surveying support.

  The role of Senior QS will be based in Somerset and is on a large power generation project.

  This is a site based role.

  You will monitor, record and report on a Tier 1 contractors cost, conduct valuations and value variations.

  Good communication skills essential.

• THE COMPANY

  My client is a firm of consultants doing claims, expert witness, contracts management and quantity surveying support for a range of industrial type projects both in the UK and abroad.

  THE CANDIDATE

  You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor ideally MRICS qualified.

  You will need to have gained experience of monitoring, recording and reporting of contractor costs.

  Also you should have experience of doing valuations and valuing variations.

  You will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar subject.

  Ideally you should have gained experience of similar large power generation projects e.g. nuclear, oil & gas or similar.

  You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents and have a stable work record.

  Good client facing skills are essential.

  Salary is negotiable around £75000 to £80000 per annum plus pension and discretionary bonus.
